All designers can appreciate the show “Project Runway”, from its complex challenges to its drama-filled charisma. This latest season is all about the ALL STARS. Among the talented cast is Mondo Guerra, who is an expert at putting various patterns together and making a masterpiece. Last week, all the designers were asked to create a piece for the classic Broadway play “Godspell” (so very jealous). Mondo, being Mr. Project Fabulous, put together the most exciting and fashion-forward pieces. A gorgeous jacket, inspired by a smoking jacket and a long flowing dress to die for. His ability to put different patterns together and create sucha beautiful outfit is truly a source of inspiration! Mondo Guerra is a designer to highly admire. His out-of-the-box thinking has allowed him to surpass his fellow competitors and really flourish on Project Runway. Mondo emcompasses all that is Young & Inspired…let’s all remember to do the same and Be Inspired to Inspire.
Today is a special day at PVL Headquarters due to someone being one year older and wiser! That someone is John, our COO, who has brought nothing but value and amazing insight to the brand. Being a financial guru and great marketer for the brand, John has opened the doors to many new markets and avenues that will continue to let us keep the Young & Inspired movement going full steam ahead. From being a successful child actor to having an amazing career as we speak, Jason Bateman’s style has always been present. As seen here, his color selections are on point as well as the most important part, which is fit and custom tailoring, which gives the look of being on the runway. Back from a 3 day weekend is always hard…but we are ready to go full steam ahead with the launch of PVL x Free 2 B this week, along with us finalizing our Spring ‘12 line and getting it to production. All 3 gents will be traveling this week on business and for some fun, which definitely means more stories for all of you PVL’rs out there wondering what’s been going on with the brand and somewhat lack of postings. To answer that briefly, we’ve been so focused and overwhelmed with opportunities for us that there aren’t enough hours in the day! With that being said though, we promise to get back into the groove of things and keep you guys in the loop 24/7…we promise!
